CAP Services has experienced some changes in its senior staff recently.
Nicole Harrison, Marion, was named CAP’s new Chief Program Officer (CPO) in May.
Harrison is based at CAP’s Hoover Road location in Stevens Point and is responsible for oversight of the agency’s programmatic operations including human development, early childhood development, lending and weatherization.
Harrison has been with the agency since 2001, most recently as vice president of CAP’s Human Development Department.
“Nicole brings a deep knowledge of our clients and service area with her to this role,” said Mary Patoka, CAP president and CEO. “We look forward to her expanding that knowledge across all of our program areas and helping ensure success for the agency.”
Harrison holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is a Certified Family Development Specialist from University of Iowa School of Social Work, and holds a Certificate of Excellence in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from University of Wisconsin – Extension. Harrison received the Wisconsin Community Action Program Association’s Richard Strand Exceptional Community Action Staff Member Award in 2008.
Rich Rasmussen, Waupaca, was promoted from Human Resource Generalist II to Director of Talent in April.
Rasmussen is based at CAP’s Hoover Road location in Stevens Point and is responsible for oversight of the agency’s human resources and talent development functions.
Rasmussen came to CAP in August of 2018. His work experience includes 25 years in human resource roles.
Rasmussen holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and a masters in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University. He has served on the Fox Valley Technical College Workforce Advisory Board, Trinity Lutheran Church Personnel Committee, and the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce Business Development Committee and HR Network.
