Work site:                   Family Development Center, Stevens Point, WI

Start Date:                  as soon as possible                 

Starting Pay:              $13.23-$14.14 per hour, depending on experience

Status:                        Full time, 37.5 hours during the school year, summer lay off

Duties: Responsible for the supervision of children, preparing and conducting weekly lesson plans, on-going assessment of children, and maintaining compliance with all related regulations.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5;

OR

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or working toward completion, with two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.

 

Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the Registry or class.

 

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire.

In accordance with Wisconsin Child Care Regulations, must obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
