CAP offers quality early childhood programs that aid in the total development of children starting with prenatal services up to age 5.
Family Resource Center – CAP Services’ Family Resource Center, located in the CAPsell Center in Wautoma, offers a number of programs including individual and group parenting education and anger management classes.
4 Year Old Kindergarten – CAP Services embraces a community approach to servicing four year old children and their families by collaborating with school districts to provide universal four year old preschool services. CAP Services provides four-year-old kindergarten services in Portage and Waupaca counties.
Children’s Discovery Center – CAP Services’ child care facility in the Portage County Business Park in Stevens Point is designed to meet the needs of the families in the community and surrounding areas. The Children’s Discovery Center offers quality child care, on-site four-year old kindergarten, and educational services to children ages six weeks to six years. The center operates full year and offers full- and part-time enrollment slots and is open to all families in the community regardless of income.
Early Head Start – CAP Services’ Early Head Start is a locally designed and implemented federally funded program providing quality prenatal and early childhood development services to low-income children and their families. The program is comprehensive and involves the family in the total development of the child.
Head Start – CAP Services’ Head Start program is a federally funded early childhood program for income eligible and special needs pre-school children and their families provides comprehensive services in the areas of early childhood education, health, and family and community partnerships. CAP’s Head Start services are available in Marquette, Portage, Waupaca, and Waushara counties.
