Hmong UPLIFT – CAP Services’ Hmong UPLIFT is a multi-generational family literacy program that helps bridge gaps within families looking to improve their lives. UPLIFT assists Hmong parents in setting goals and gaining the skills and knowledge to advance while modeling the importance of education to their children. The program is open free of charge to all Hmong families who reside in the Stevens Point School District, with a child ages 4-8 and at least one parent looking to advance their life through school or work.

Rental Housing – CAP Services has residential rental properties in Calumet, Juneau, Green Lake, Marathon, Marquette, Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara, and Wood counties. Weatherization and Rehabilitation – CAP Services weatherizes income-qualified homes identified by the Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP). WHEAP provides CAP with a referral list of qualified homes for eventual follow-up to determine owner/tenant interest in participating in the program. CAP provides weatherization services in Marquette, Portage, Waupaca and Waushara counties.

Housing rehabilitation funds are provided to low-income homeowners as a deferred loan that is due upon sale of the home, if the home is no longer their primary residence, or 30 years from the date of the loan origination. Households eligible for the 0% simple interest loans must have annual incomes at or below 80% of the county median income.

Work-n-Wheels – CAP Services’ auto loan program is for employed, income eligible individuals and families who need to purchase a safe and dependable vehicle. For people with poor credit or no credit, or who have been denied bank financing, this program may be an option.

Housing Counseling – CAP Services assists clients with a wide array of resources available in order to secure and maintain stable housing.
