Start Date:                  as soon as possible                           

Starting Pay:              $12.81-$13.97 per hour, depending on experience

Sign on Bonus:           $1,000 (details at time of hire)

Status:                        FT, 40 hours per week – during the school year, summer lay-off

Duties: Responsible for the supervision of children, for preparing and conducting weekly lesson plans which provide a developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, for on-going assessment of children, and for maintaining compliance with all related regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and one year of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5; or

Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) and two years of experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5. (Head Start and Early Head Start positions only)

Must have copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the Registry or class.

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire.

In accordance with Wisconsin Child Care Regulations, must obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
