Starting Pay:              $18.23—$19.87 per hour, depending on experience 

Status:                        Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Duties:  CAP Services is expanding the Mental Health Navigation program in Stevens Point by adding a School-Based Mental Health Advocate. This position will facilitate access to mental health services within the Stevens Point School District by coordinating with district staff and community resources. The Advocate will also be responsible for assessing participants’ needs, assisting participants with navigating and accessing mental health services, and providing ongoing support services to encourage compliance with treatment plans.

 

Minimum Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. in psychology, human services, sociology, health administration, public policy or a related field and three years of related work leading to a working knowledge of mental health issues, treatment, and services;

OR Associate’s degree in related field and five years of experience as mentioned above;

OR High school diploma or equivalent and seven years of experience as mentioned above.

Must be able to travel and have access to an insured motor vehicle for work related travel of up to 50-125 miles per week. (Work-related mileage reimbursed)
