Work site: Tower Road, Waupaca, WI

Start Date: as soon as possible                             

Starting Pay: $18.23—$19.87 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Part time (25 hours per week) with potential to increase based on program need

Duties:  CAP Services is expanding the Mental Health Navigation program to serve residents of Waupaca County. The Mental Health Navigation Advocate will assist with identifying community resources, developing partnerships, and providing outreach to individuals in Waupaca County, with an emphasis on low-income households and those with identified mental health needs. The Advocate will also be responsible for assessing participants’ needs, assisting participants with navigating and accessing mental health services, and providing ongoing support services to encourage compliance with treatment plans, managing medications and attending mental health appointments. Ideal candidates will be familiar with community and mental health resources available to Waupaca County residents.

 

Minimum Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. in psychology, human services, sociology, health administration, public policy or a related field and three years of related work leading to a working knowledge of mental health issues, treatment, and services;

OR Associate’s degree in related field and five years of experience as mentioned above;

OR High school diploma or equivalent and seven years of experience as mentioned above.

Must be able to travel and have access to an insured motor vehicle for work related travel of up to 50-125 miles per week. (Work-related mileage reimbursed)
