***This position may work any shift, but initially would primarily be 2nd and 3rd shift, as needed for occasional shift coverage, and would consist primarily of one to three shifts per week, but may vary within a flexible schedule.
Duties: The position exists to meet the immediate needs of callers on a 24-hour crisis and information hotline and walk-in visitors presenting for a variety of concerns including mental health, family dysfunction, domestic abuse and sexual assault. The position also meets the needs of domestic violence victims and their children as well as youth-in-crisis who are receiving emergency shelter services at the Family Crisis Center.
Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in related field (psychology, social work, human development) or non-related degree and one year of the same work or work considered preparatory, leading to a working knowledge of crisis intervention/youth/domestic violence services.
