Work site: Waupaca County, WI

Start Date: as soon as possible

Starting Pay: $14.29-$15.57 per hour, depending on experience

Status: LTE, 0-10 hours per week based on classroom need (flexible)

Duties: Responsible for assisting staff in preparing and translating materials, corresponding with families, and interpret and act as cultural liaison between English speaking staff and non-English speaking children and families at family gatherings, home visits, conferences and other program activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of high school or equivalent and one year related work experience working directly with children 0-5 or adults and the ability to read, write, and converse in English and Spanish.

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of Shaken Baby Syndrome training prior to working at the center.
