Start Date: as soon as possible
Starting Pay: $20.09-$21.09 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Duties: Provide client-directed culturally competent services to victims of interpersonal violence (domestic abuse, sexual assault, abusive international marriage) and provide victim advocacy and support services as needed. Advocacy services include information and referral, safety planning, assistance with application for temporary restraining order petitions and crime victim compensation, accompaniment to judicial proceedings (reporting to lay enforcement/court proceedings), or accompaniment to emergency room or other medical care provider.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS in social work, psychology, or human services and one year experience (sexual assault, domestic abuse, crisis intervention, sociology, human services) leading to a working knowledge of family development, advocacy and support services;
- OR Associates in related field and three years’ experience;
- OR high school diploma and five years’ experience.
-Must be bilingual – English and Hmong
-Must understand or acquire within three months of hire, an understanding of laws relating to restraining orders/harassment/stalking.
