CAP spends approximately $8,100 annually on electricity at its corporate headquarters. Proceeds from our solar fundraising campaign will be used to install a 42kW solar system, which will provide 74.4% of the annual electrical usage at the Hoover office. With the new system, CAP will save an estimated $5,700 on annual electricity charges per year, with a Return on Investment of 10 years. Over the course of the warranty life of the system, CAP will save an estimated $221,000. These funds will be re-directed toward our efforts in creating opportunities for people to achieve safety and economic mobility.
