Work site:                   New London Head Start @ 709 Pine St. New London

Start Date:                  Early August 2019                 

Starting Pay:              $16.01-$17.45 per hour, depending on experience

 Status:                        Full time, 34 hours per week, during the school year, summer layoff

Duties:  Responsible for initiating working and accessible relationships with assigned families, based on families strengths, needs and requests, through home visits, center and phone contacts.

 Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Child and Family Studies or related field and one year of related work experience that includes working with adults, children and families.

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for CPR within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of Shaken Baby Syndrome training prior to working at the center.

Must be able to travel to all work sites in service areas and have access to an insured motor vehicle; frequently 50-125 miles per week.  Mileage reimbursement may apply.
