Work site:                   Family Crisis Center – Stevens Point

Start Date:                  as soon as possible                           

Starting Pay:              $10.03-$10.93 per hour, depending on experience

Status:                        4 hours per week-Monday evening,  Group is held one night per week

Benefits:                     no benefits

Duties:            Serve as facilitator of the support or educational groups offered by CAP’s Family Services Department.  Include weekly support groups for victims of domestic violence, children affected by domestic violence, and parent education programs.  In some cases the facilitator will function as the lead worker for on-site child care services offered by some Family Service Department programs.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of training in sociology, behavior change or child development and 6 months of experience leading to a familiarity with group facilitation; OR
  2. High school diploma or equivalent and one and one half years’ experience in working with behavior change groups and 6 months of experience leading to a familiarity with group facilitation.
