In recognition of National “Be a Millionaire Day” and to help support Wisconsin small businesses, CAP Services, Inc. in partnership with its sponsors and supporters is excited to announce the official beginning of our 3rd Annual Business Growth & Readiness Grant!
This grant, through a competitive application process, will provide one local business with a $1,000 grant and over $2,500 in business coaching services, growth opportunities, and other prizes.
Would you like to expand your market and grow your sales? This grant is meant to find and award a local business of any size and type the opportunity to grow and expand their existing business beyond their current market area. Once selected the “grantee” business owner will be paired up with a local “Business Coaching Team”. We have brought the experts from Northeast Wisconsin together to assist you.
DEFINED SERVICE AREA: Northeast, North Central and Southeast Wisconsin (Participating businesses must be located in Calumet, Marathon, Marquette, Outagamie, Portage, Waupaca, Waushara, or Wood counties)
WHO QUALIFIES: Existing businesses wanting assistance growing their revenue!
Deadline for the application is Sunday, June 30, 2018.

Three finalists will be chosen for an in-person interview presentation, which will take place in early September 2018. Finalists will be notified by Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
The business best able to demonstrate its readiness and ability to broaden its current market area, increase revenue, and increase customer base will be selected as the winner. The winner will be announced and notified in person by September 21, 2018.
WHO IS CAP SERVICES, INC?
CAP Services is a nonprofit that offers innovative and effective programs developed and maintained with input from the people being served. CAP Services provides no cost business coaching and affordable lending to low-income individuals starting a business or to businesses committed to creating jobs that will be filled by low-income individuals. CAP’s business development coordinators help individuals develop their business plan and assemble a financing package, which can include gap financing from CAP.
