Early Head Start Teacher Assistant (Clintonville)

Work site: Clintonville, WI

Start Date: as soon as possible

Starting Pay: $16.99-$18.72 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Full time, 40 hours per week, full year position

Duties: In an Early Head Start classroom working with 2–3-year-olds you would be responsible for

assisting the Classroom Manager in preparing and conducting lesson plans which provide a

developmentally age and stage appropriate curriculum, utilizing developmentally appropriate practices

as outlined in the Program’s philosophy and Creative Curriculum.

• Two – year Associate Degree in Child Care and Development through a technical college and one year of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-3; OR

• Child Development Associate Credential and two years of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-3.

-CDA must be for Infant and Toddlers or a Registry Certificate with a Level 6 or greater indicating them

ability to work with-12

Must provide a copy of unofficial transcripts or certificate from the Registry or class.

Must be able to work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
