Community Resource Specialist-Public Health

Work site: Candidate chooses office location, either Stevens Point or Wautoma

Start Date: as soon as possible                             

Starting Pay: $16.53-$18.02 per hour, depending on experience

Status: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Duties: This position is designed to help individuals, families, community groups, and organizations across CAP’s five-county service area to develop their capacity and access to resources, including coronavirus prevention and remediation. This role will provide referrals and case management to support clients’ needs, and will act as a liaison between health agencies, social service agencies, and people in the community to address the health-related concerns resulting from COVID-19.


Minimum Qualifications:

B.A. or B.S. in public health, psychology, sociology, social work or human service area and one year of related experience;

OR post-secondary degree in a non-related field with two years’ related experience;

OR associate’s degree in related field and three years’ related experience;

OR high school diploma with five years related experience.


Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) as well as Google applications (Gmail, Calendar, Drive) at hire.
