Work site:                   Family Development Center, Stevens Point                        

Start Date:                  Late July – Early August 2019   

Starting Pay:              $16.01-$16.73 hour, depending on experience with a 2 year Degree

$16.73-$17.45 hour, depending on experience with a BS

Sign on Bonus:           $1,300.00 (details at time of hire)

Status:                        full time, 37.5 hours per week – during the school year, summer lay off

Duties:  Responsible for implementing all aspects of the Head Start educational programming, including lesson planning, assessment, screening, home visits and conferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and one year of experience; or

Two year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and two years of classroom experience which includes working directly with children ages 0-5.

Copy of un-official transcripts and/or Registry/Class certificate required

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire.

In accordance with Wisconsin Child Care Regulations, must obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
