Work site: New London, WI                               

Start Date: as soon as possible   

Starting Pay: $16.53-$18.02 hour, depending on experience

Status: Full time, 40 hours per week during school year, summer layoff

Duties:  Responsible for implementing all aspects of the Head Start educational programming,, including lesson planning, assessment, screening, home visits and conferences.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and one year of related work experience with children ages 0-5;
  • OR Two-year Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field through a technical college and two years of related work experience that includes working directly with children ages 0-5.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work effectively within multi-cultural situations
  • Obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire.
  • In accordance with Wisconsin Child Care Regulations, obtain a certificate from the registry of the Wisconsin Early Childhood Professional Recognition system within 3 months after assuming the position.
