Starting Pay:              $10.41-$11.35 per hour, depending on experience

Sign on Bonus:           $500.00 – details at time of hire

Duties: Responsible for assisting the teacher in preparing and conducting classroom activities, newsletters, and correspondence with families and needs to be available to interpret and act as cultural liaison between English speaking staff and non-English speaking children and families in the classroom, at family gatherings, home visits, conferences and other program activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of high school or equivalent and six months related work experience working directly with children 0-5; and
  • The ability to read, write and converse in English & Spanish
  • Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire and a certificate of completion of shaken baby syndrome training prior to working in the center.
  • Must be able to travel to all worksites in service area and have access to an insured vehicle. Mileage reimbursement may apply.
