Work site:               Marquette County Early Learning Center, Oxford, WI and
Wautoma Early Learning Center, Wautoma, WI

Start Date:                  as soon as possible                         

Starting Pay:               $11.26-$12.27 per hour, depending on experience

Status:                        LTE: less than 20 hours per week, as needed

Duties: Responsible for assisting staff in preparing and translating materials for classroom activities, newsletters, and correspondence with families and needs to be available to interpret and act as cultural liaison between English speaking staff and non-English speaking children and families in the classroom, at family gatherings, home visits, conferences and other program activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of high school or equivalent and six months related work experience working directly with children 0-5

Ability to read, write, and converse in both Spanish and English.

Must obtain and maintain a current certificate of completion for infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) within 3 months of hire

In accordance with Wisconsin Child care regulations, must be willing to submit to and pass a Criminal Background Check and Background Information Disclosure.

Must be able to travel to all worksites in service area and have access to an insured vehicle: up to 50 miles a week. (work related mileage reimbursed)

Must be able to work effectively with multi-cultural situations.
