Work site: Stevens Point – Family Crisis Center
Start Date: as soon as possible
Starting Pay: $16.84- $18.34 per hour, depending on experience
Status: Limited Term position 8-16 hours per week – with the potential to be full time.
These positions may work any shift but primarily 2nd and 3rd shift, as needed for occasional shift coverage of one to three shifts per week. Schedule is very flexible

Duties: Employee will meet the immediate needs of callers on a 24-hour crisis and information hotline and walk-in visitors presenting for a variety of concerns including mental health, family dysfunction, domestic abuse and sexual assault and will meet the needs of domestic violence victims and their children as well as youth-in-crisis, who are receiving emergency shelter services at the Family Crisis Center.
Minimum Qualifications: BS/BA in psychology, social work, human services or a related degree and one year experience of the same work or work considered preparatory, leading to a working knowledge of crisis intervention/domestic violence services.
Must understand, or acquire within three months of hire, an understanding of laws relating to restraining orders/harassment/stalking.
CPR and First Aid certification required at time of hire or within 90 days of hire.
Must be able to travel independently and have access to an insured vehicle.
